kele okereke from bloc party is actually a really amazing dude. i've always loved bloc party, but never knew much about the lead singer. he was featured in the latest butt magazine, which we carry at work. he's a true artist AND he punched johnny rotten.

butt also featured ryan trecartin, who makes probably the weirdest movies ever, but is yet another amazing dude. butt was really on top of things this month.


and they also featured lorenzo "lolo" get it.

alice in vunderland

i think i would have liked alice in wonderland better if the whole movie had not been alice in wonderland at all and just a period piece with some quirks. the 1860's costumes were beautiful, as were the sets and makeup. dark eyes.

i saw andy warhol's "myths" collection today. it's very odd that an andy warhol exhibit would be showing in madison, ga, but there you go. the collection was done just before warhol's death in the late 80's. it was fantastic, and for warhol prints, very refined. here is a really bad camera phone picture.

orange swimmer red summer

has anyone else listened to deastro's orange swimmer red summer? the first song on the album was featured in the fall 2010 marc by marc show, and i searched far and wide until i found it. the whole album is amazing though. you can download the whole thing here:
